Manufacturing System Education

Engineering education is challenged by the complexity of advanced manufacturing system, such as Industrie 4.0 or smart factory. Innovation is needed in the education system to prepare the students with such complex and systems-view thinking.

The engineering education in manufacturing system to teach a real complex manufacturing system is approached with LEGO production line and analyzed by cognitive science, with IE-251 as an experimental platform.
